Silicon Carbide

The chemical symbol of silicon carbide is (SIC), a new type of solid compound deoxidant that replaces the traditional silicon carbon powder for deoxidation. Silicon carbide has two commonly used basic varieties: Black silicon carbide and Green silicon carbide.

(1) Black silicon carbide contains more than 95% of silicon carbide. It is black or dark blue, with gloss. Hardness is higher than Bai Gangyu, crispy and sharp, well -conductive and conductive grinding cast iron. Materials and non -metal materials.

(2) Green silicon carbide contains more than 97% of silicon carbide. It is green, hardness and brittleness than TH, good thermal conductivity and good conductivity, hard alloy, optical glass, gemstone, jade, ceramics, and polished engine cylinders.

Silicon carbide mainly has four major application areas: functional ceramics, advanced refractory materials, abrasives and metallurgical raw materials. The silicon carbide coarse material can be supplied in large quantities, and it cannot be regarded as high-tech product, and the application of high -tech nano -grade silicon carbide powder cannot form a scale economy for a short time.

(3) A single crystal of high purity can be used to make semiconductors and silicon carbide fibers.

Main uses of silicon carbide: for cutting of 3-12-inch single crystal silicon, polysilicon, potassium arsenide, and quartz crystals. Engineering processing materials for solar photovoltaic industry, semiconductor industry, and voltage crystal industry.

SiC is used for semiconductors, lightning needles, circuit elements, high-temperature applications, ultraviolet light detection devices, structural material, astronomy, disc brake, clutch, diesel particle filter, filament high thermometers, ceramic film, cutting tools, heating elements, nuclear fuel fuels, nuclear fuel, Jewelry, steel, protective gear, catalyst and other fields.
