The traditional smelting method of 2202 Si metal is to mix and smelt silica, stone tar and charcoal in equal proportions, and use low-ash petroleum coke or pitch coke as the reducing agent. However, due to the small resistivity and poor reaction ability of these two cokes, charcoal (or wood blocks) with low ash content, high resistivity and strong reaction ability must be used to replace part of the petroleum coke, which consumes a lot of power. At the same time, the elements in the raw materials are recovered The rate is low, resulting in waste of resources and environmental pollution.

Reed stalks, straw, wolfberry stalks, flax stalks and other raw materials are used instead of charcoal, and the furnace type is improved: the height of the furnace bottom is increased from 2.2m to 2.5m. The original self-baking electrode using electrode paste is changed to a finished graphite electrode with a height of 12m; a 10cm castable protection device is added to the lower part of the pressure ring; the invention reduces beneficial elements, improves recovery rate, and removes impurities.
